no cell phones at gas stations

So, not to long ago I was yelled at by a gas station customer because I was on my phone with my (former) roommate about home stuff. She (the gas station customer) that the "spark" from my cell phone batery will make the station explode. I have NEVER heard that before nor was there a sign posted anywhere. Pretty much I rolled my eyes and went on my mary way. While on my mary way I asked my roommate and my boyfriend if they have ever heard of such a thing. both saying hecka no! Well....I got gas last friday night at a completely different gas station..and I say this lovely little post that was on the gas pump....so there it is...."potentiall explosive atmosphere". Who would have guessed? I didn't even know my phone had a spark....by the picture of the cell phone posted, I wonder if the spark thing is even a current issue....

I got a new camera in which as you can see, I will be having tons of fun with..I took a picture of my dad pretending to sleep...then with the amazingness of my new camera's options, I doodled on him...hehehe..I am going to enjoy this very much..

Gas in NOVA

Oh boy oh boy, gas is going up....It is ridicules on how fast it is going..in a matter of week it goes up 15 cents. I have never budgeted for gas before now...in the past I just paid when I needed gas..now I plan to afford gas...so depressing...I wish that NOVA had great public transportation...but we don't not unless you live and work closer to the City...but you would need to afford to live...sucks..I would give up my car if I could depend on the PT of this area...O'well, whats a girl to do....

little nuggets that sing joy

This is one of the greatest pictures I have seen. It is displayed in the restaurant Mikes. The best part is not shown in the photo I took...but right above this picture is another one of a little old man with a huge grin, holding up a pint of beer.

Little nuggets like this is what I live for. They sing straight to my heart.
